I’m not just your average trainer. I’m also a fitness writer and consultant for numerous fitness websites. My sporting background primarily consists of track and field, cross-country running and road racing. I competed for over 9 years at both the club and varsity levels. I have personal bests of 15:13 and 32:15 in the 5km and 10km road races, respectively. With my running experience and passion for strength training, I have developed specialized training methods that help make runners more resilient, stronger and more powerful with the underlying goal of running faster race times. I’ve strength coached runners at all levels, from beginners to elites (highly competitive to nationally carded) and everyone in between. Since my racing days in 2007, Mizuno continues to supply me with training gear and runners as part of their Brand Ambassador Program. The new Mizuno minimalist shoes rock by the way :)
