Comprehensive Coaching Package: $120 / month + tax
Best suited for the runner who has some competitive experience but wants individualized programming and additional guidance about key components to training such as nutrition and recovery. Training programs can be designed for racing 800 metres up to the half marathon. Program includes:
- Weekly workout programming
- Nutrition recommendations
- Weekly check-in call
- Unlimited email correspondence
- Recommendations for training resources
- Support using the VDot 02 Coaching App

Coach: Julia Howard
Julia Howard is a former National Team member and varsity athlete. Her athletic background spans two decades of competitive running from 400 metres up to the half marathon.
Julia is also a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. Her approach to nutrition comes from her desire to fuel for high performance, digestive health, and longevity in the sport.
Julia’s coaching philosophy is to build trusting relationships where athletes’ needs are put first with a balanced, strategic approach to training.
Julia represented Canada at the 2001 Junior Pan Am Games, 2004 North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships (U23) – silver medalist (800m), and the 2005, 2007, & 2009 World Student Games.
She finished 4th in the 800 metres at the Canadian Olympic Trials in 2004 and 2008 and 5th in the 1500 metres in 2012. In 2019, she was inducted into the Simon Fraser University’s Athletic Hall of Fame for her achievements as a varsity athlete.
Currently a self-coached Masters athlete, Julia is training for road races from 5k up to the half marathon.
